Summer Internship-Undergraduate Science or Marketing Student
The Research Network Ltd, based at Sandwich Discovery Park, provides project management and consultancy services to Pharmaceutical Research companies globally. TRN helps organisations progress Drug research projects form Idea to the Clinic through an established network of service providers.
The employer is now offering the opportunity for someone to join them as a summer Intern to support the marketing and business development function of the business. The role will best suit someone with a keen interest in modern media and some knowledge of IT media tools.
The role will include the following duties:
Updating and maintaining client database
Conducting Market Research
Liaising with company specialists to set up and manage marketing campaigns
Coordinating incoming client requests
Liaising with clients
Collating and reporting marketing & sales statistics

This internship is offered for a 2-3 month period from mid-June until mid-September
You will receive on the job training on all systems used.
You will have excellent IT skills.
You will have excellent written English skills with a bit of a flare for creative writing.
You will be familiar with social media and understanding using the Web for advertising.
You can use Facebook, Ebay etc. and upload data & Images.
You will have confident communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
You will be organised and able to manage your own work load.
You will have accurate data entry skills.
7 GCSEs at grades A*-C, 3 GCE A Levels.
Ideally you will have a qualification in media or IT but not essential
You will have a genuine interest in marketing and modern media methods.
You will be analytical and methodical in you approach to your work
You will be keen to learn and develop you skills.
